IGNOU Chennai Regional Centre Admission 2026-27

The application forms for all the UG, PG, Diploma, Certificate, and Doctoral courses for the upcoming academic cycle of IGNOU July 2026-27 have been initiated. The application forms at the study centres remain available till the IGNOU Admission last date of 15 July 2026. Eligible candidates who live in Tamil Nadu can visit their nearest study centre of the IGNOU Regional Centre of Chennai and complete all the formalities of admission. Some of those formalities include attaching the documents and paying the application fee. The Application form of the candidates is completely valid if they meet the eligibility criteria for their desired course at IGNOU. IGNOU RC-Chennai Assignment Submission

Students who are currently residing in Tamil Nadu can submit their assignments offline by visiting their nearest IGNOU Regional/Study Centre in Chennai. They can download the question paper for the assignments from the university’s official website. After completing the assignments and binding them together, students can visit a study centre near them and submit them offline. They should note that submitting the assignments is mandatory, as they carry a weightage of 30% of a learner’s overall grades. Further, only those who have submitted their assignments on time will be eligible to appear in the IGNOU TEEs.

IGNOU gives scholarships to the candidates who are citizens of India or are already enrolled in any IGNOU courses. To apply for the IGNOU scholarship program online, candidates must visit the official website, which is scholarships.gov.in, and offline candidates need to visit their allotted IGNOU Regional Center.

IGNOU Chennai Regional Centre TEE

Students can complete the June TEEs Exam form conducted by IGNOU. The last date without a fine was 26 April 2026, and with a fine was 27 April 2026. Late form submission fine is Rs 1100.  IGNOU Term End Examinations hold a major percentage of the total academic marks. The TEE consists of 70% of the total marks of the academic year, and the IGNOU Assignment consists of 30%. IGNOU holds TEE to check students’ performance and eligibility for them in the next academic semester or year. TEE is mandatory for all students who are already enrolled in any IGNOU courses. The Hall Ticket/Admit Card is mandatory for all the students who will appear in the IGNOU TEE. Without an admit card, there is no entry for the students in the examination hall. To download the IGNOU Hall Ticket, students need to visit this portal. The IGNOU Hall Ticket for the June TEE 2026 has been released. Students are kindly informed to download their hall ticket to get entry in the examination hall. The hall ticket will be generated only for the students who fill out the exam form before the time, with exam form fees of Rs. 200/subject.
