IGNOU Study Centre Change
If Students want to change the Study Centre, they can login on the IGNOU Samarth portal and submit the Study Centre change application form, and in the Offline visit, the current regional centre submits the offline application. Usually, the transfer process takes 4 to 6 weeks.
How to change the Study Centre at IGNOU
(Online Method)
Step 1: Login on the IGNOU Samarth Portal using the student’s ID and Password
Step 2: Select the Service and Service Request tab on the left menu.
Step 3: Click on the “Change of Study centre” Option
Step 4: Fill out the form with the current program and specify your desired new Study Centre code, and upload the required documents
(Offline Method)
If the online method is not working for some reason, students can directly apply through the regional centre. In the Offline mode, first, write a formal application addressed to the Regional Director of your current Regional Centre. In the application mentioned, Clear Name, Current Programme, Enrollment Number, current Study Centre code, the code of the new Study Centre you want to join, and the reason for the transfer, including IGNOU ID and Address proof. After that, submit the application to the Regional Centre.
