IGNOU MA Economics Examination Pattern

Students need to submit assignments for each course before appearing in the term-end examination. IGNOU conducts examinations twice a year in June and December; there will be flexibility for students to give exams. The grading system is keen on a two-tier assessment methodology combining continuous reviewing through assignments (30% weightage) and term-end examinations (70% weightage). 

Students must bring at least 40% marks individually in both assignments and term-end examinations of IGNOU to pass the course. The grading system follows a 10-point scale, with grades ranging from A+ (85% and above) to C (40-49%). Students who fail to qualify for the exam can reappear in subsequent examinations within their program.
