IGNOU Online MBA Admission 2026-27: IGNOU will soon open its admission window for the January 2026 session, for various programmes, including Online Master of Business Administration (MBA). Online MBA is a 2-year PG programme that is delivered completely online. Total fees of this programme is INR 58,000 for two years. Students also have to pay an application fee. Application procedure of fully online without any need of visiting the University. Students must pay an application fee which is Rs. 300. Application fee is mandatory to pay and non-refundable. Only students who fulfill eligibility criteria can apply online through IGNOU website or its admission portal. The starting date of admission is expected 15 December 2025*. Online MBA programme will be conducted through OL mode.
Eligibility Criteria IGNOU Online MBA Admission 2026-27
Students can apply for Online MBA course at IGNOU after fulfilling its eligibility criteria. They must have passed their bachelor’s from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate marks of 50%. Students who belongs to reservation category gets 5% of relaxation and needs at least 45% marks in their bachelor’s. Also, DEB ID is a mandatory requirement for all online and open distance programmes. Students who does not have DEB ID can create one from UGC DEB official portal.
IGNOU Online MBA Admission 2026 Fee Structure
If we compare the fees of an Online MBA Programme, then IGNOU has the most affordable and low-budget fees structure. Students have to pay a development fee and programme fee with application fee. IGNOU Online MBA Admission 2026-27 Application Process
- Step 1: Visit official admission website for Online programmes, www.ignouiop.samarth.edu.in/.
- Step 2: Click on NEW REGISTRATION that appears in the applicant login area and fill the required registration details. Check email for Username and Password. Use it for all subsequent logins.
- Step 3: Now login again to admission portal and start filling the application form with required personal and educational details.
- Step 4: Upload all relevant documents that must be scanned from your original documents and should be in jpg/pdf format.
- Step 5: Pay the application fee through any online mode of payment and submit form. Download filled application form, fee acknowledgement receipt.
- Step 6: In last step, University will verify everything and then send admission confirmation mail on registered mail ID. This procedure takes 10 to 30 working days.
